Because of this, in 2016 we developed the Legal Education Program that uses <strong>interactive teaching methods<\/strong> &#8211; which young people find more engaging &#8211; to teach them about how the justice system functions, about their constitutional rights, and so forth. These methods involve engaging students through games and experiences, such as:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>simulations of court hearings (moot courts),<\/li><li>court tours,<\/li><li>a board game we have developed called &#8222;Prawopolis\u201d (Lawpolis)<\/li><li>and Oxford-style debates.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In our educational activities <strong>we engage law students as tutors<\/strong> in an effort to encourage pro bono activities among them and help them develop soft skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>So far, we have reached over 2,000 students throughout Poland<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the Legal Education Program, we also take part in<strong> local and nationwide educational campaigns<\/strong>, such as Legal Education Day and Justice in Courts Day. On these days our volunteers teach classes to young people, run a booth at law faculties to educate both law students and laypeople, and also help popularize the board game \u201cPrawopolis\u201d. During the summer holidays our educational stand can also be found at major youth festivals. Above all, we want to reach people who would never be interested in the law on their own and this goal has taken our Program to more than 20 big and small cities in Poland, such as Katowice, Krak\u00f3w, Piotrk\u00f3w Trybunalski, Wodzis\u0142aw \u015al\u0105ski, Tarn\u00f3w, Lublin, \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Rybnik, \u017bory, Toru\u0144, Konin, Olkusz as well as Aleksandr\u00f3w Kujawski and Foundation\u2019s Legal Education Program is also a great experience for our biggest group of volunteers in the Program \u2013 law students. Each volunteer participating in the Legal Education Program is part of a group implementing a project related to local affairs or serves as the group\u2019s leader, learning about responsibility and teamwork. The volunteers share their knowledge, interact with students, and share their experience from courtrooms which they acquired as a volunteer in our Civic Court Monitoring program. For future lawyers, this is a great opportunity to gain experience working with people and apply&nbsp; the knowledge gained during their studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><strong>Amanda, D\u0105browa G\u00f3rnicza<\/strong><\/p><cite><p>While playing Prawopolis I learned many legal quirks that I hope to use in everyday life.<\/p><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><strong>Marta, Szczecin<\/strong><\/p><cite><span style=\"font-size: revert;color: currentcolor\">The court cases described in the game Prawopolis were very addictive \u2013 the game draws you in as you get more and more curious about the outcome of the cases<\/span>.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><strong>Amadeusz, Rybnik<\/strong><\/p><cite><p>The game Prawopolis is well developed and allowed us to learn something new in a simple and pleasant form<\/p><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><strong>Natalia, Bia\u0142ystok<\/strong><\/p><cite> <p>I liked the fact that in class I could relax after my math lessons, observing the simulation of a courtroom hearing, which was very interesting and fun.
