The project will expand the Foundation's research and analytical activities in selected problem areas. Advocacy and promotion measures will also be taken to effectively publicize the results of the research. As a first step, the research, which will be carried out in cooperation with experts in the fields concerned, will focus on the following topics:

  1. the use of insulating and non-insulating precautionary measures in the preparatory proceedings. The importance of this topic is due to an increase of 80% in the population of people in pre-trial detention over the last three years;<\/li>
  2. participation of citizens in the administration of justice (benches, \u2013 magistrates, citizens' participation in the selection of judges);<\/li>
  3. the status and professional standard of the judge;<\/li>
  4. rights of persons with disabilities in the courts.<\/li><\/ol>

    In order to strengthen the institutional organisation, procedures for contact with sympathisers will be developed. Action will also be taken to promote cross-sectoral cooperation and internationalisation of research results by translating reports into English and disseminating reports outside the country. Conditions will be created for the team from Warsaw and the surrounding area.<\/p>

    The action is financed by the National Institute for Freedom \u2013 Center for Civil Society Development from the Citizens' Organization Development Programme 2018-2030.<\/em><\/p>
